Personal Goal Essay

A major goal of mine is to become a role model for my younger siblings

by demonstrating to them that they can always succeed in life. In order

to accomplish that goal of becoming a role model; finishing my

education, obtaining a job and getting life experience would serve as an

example of being successful in life and inspire them to do better.

The first step to reaching my goal of becoming a significant role model

is to finish my education. Growing up my parents taught me that

education is very important in becoming successful. Being the first one

to graduate from high school and attend college is already a milestone

in my path. I want to obtain my AA degree, then proceed to attending

the Nursing: LPN bridge to ASN in hopes of becoming an RN.

Finishing my education can motivate my siblings to strive for better

things in life.

In order to reach my goal of becoming a role model for my siblings

would be to get a job that offers endless opportunities. Preferably a job

as a med surge nurse in a prestige hospital and to know that I am

making a difference and that motivates them to find a job that they

enjoy but can also open many doors for them.

In addition, to reach my goal of becoming a role model is to have

enough experience to be able to guide and help my siblings whenever

they need me. One of my main aspects is to help others; therefore, I

am determined to continue growing with knowledge and experience.

Reaching my goal of becoming a role model I have to finish my

education, obtain a job and learn from life experience to help serve as

an example of being successful in life and inspire them to do better.
