On 16 February 2016, Rocky passed away after a spell of illness. During his illness, Rocky had defaulted on one instalment of the car. A month later, Sapphire approached Bronze Motors and requested for time to settle the arrears. She also informed the owner that she wanted to continue with the agreement. The request was rejected and no reason was given for the rejection. On 30 March 2016, Bronze Motors issued a Fourth Schedule Notice to Sapphire.
