Q: What is the pinout for RS-232 communication to the UAC Servodrive?

A: File transfer between the NUM UAC drive and a PC is possible via
RS-232 communication. The following document provides the proper
wiring diagram for the RS-232 connection cable.

Q: What is the communication software to interface to the UAC Drive?

A: NUM SETLink Software allows for drive parameter adjustment and
backup and restore.

Q: What type of transformer is required for step down 480-400 or isolation?

A: The NUM Drives require a Y or Star type secondary transformer
connection with the center tap earth grounded.
