Non-Union Midterm Evaluations

Midterm evaluations are an opportunity for supervisors to formally review their Classified
employees’ progress, reset priorities and to discover what additional support employees may
need in order to better execute their duties. For employees, it provides them a snapshot of their
progress and provides them ample time to make any adjustments needed before their end-of-
term evaluation is due. As a friendly reminder, non-union employee midterm evaluations are due
to be completed on June 1, 2018.

Helpful tips and reminders for completing the end-of-term evaluations for AFSCME employees:

Please ensure that the midterm box is checked on the first page of the evaluation.
Do not complete an evaluation for an employee currently on probation at this time, stay
with their probationary evaluation cycle.
