My name is Alec Berger, I’ve lived in the Charlotte/ Concord area for the last 18 years.

I was

born in Atlanta but spent most of my childhood between Rock Hill, Buffalo, NY and Long

Island. I’ve never been a fan of writing or english classes due to my middle school teachers

cramming grammer and forced reading down my throat and then telling me my opinion was

wrong. However my senior year in highschool I had a teacher that allowed us to break away

from curriculum and talk about social issues and our opinions on life. I enjoyed that more than

any other class because I felt that I may never have to use a semicolon after high school or

college but for the rest of my life I’ll have to hear and learn to respect or at least deal with

opposing points of views.
