Deforestation is consider to be one of the contributing factors to global climate

change. The problem caused by deforestation is the impact on the global cycle carbon.
A molecular gas that absorb thermal infrared radiation is called greenhouse gases. If
greenhouse gases are I large enough quantity, they can force climate change.

The deforestation of trees not only reducing the amount of carbon stored, it also
release carbon dioxide into the air. This is because when trees die, it releases carbon
dioxide into the air. Deforestation releases nearly a billion tons of carbon into the
atmosphere per year. Deforestation is the second largest human-caused source of
carbon dioxide to the atmosphere.

Carbon isn’t the only greenhouses gas that is affected by deforestation.
