Responsible parties may remove any lockouttazout devices 4, With Fuel and Air pressures normal, the HIGH OIL NORMAL, LOW OIL NORMAL, LOW ATOMIZING AIR NORMAL, and AIR FLOW NORMAL lamps will be energize 15, Pull the red EMERGENCY BURNER STOP mushroom head button out to its furthest position ‘System Start 21. Withthe common, fuel, and DCS limits made: 22. Theair flow switch test is conducted, 22.1. Air pressure switch solenoid 31SOL is energized and bleeds air to atmosphere from 28PS. 222 Airflow switch 28PS opens 223. AIR PRESSURE NORMAL lamp is de-energizes 224 Air pressure switch check relay 30CR is energized and latches itself. 225. Airpressure switch 31SOl is de-energized and re-establishes pressure to 28PS, 226. Airflow switch 28PS makes 227. AIR PRESSURE NORMAL lamp is energized 23. ‘The high energy igniter insert solenoid 28SOL is energized. This system will automatically advance through burner light- off sequences once statis initiated. 26 Pull the PULL TO START/PUSH TO STOP mushroom heat! button out to its furthest position. A. contact closure is given to the BMS. 3. Purge Cycle, A minimum of 8 air volume exchanges are required prior to ignition, 3.1. Purge is @ DCS function, when completed; 3.1.1. The fuel and combustion air valve control motors must be atthe low flow position, 3.1.2. With the lov fire light off switches made (Low Start Limits) and the high energy ignited inserted limit switch made, the tral for ignition is started. 4. Light-Of Sequence 1, The RM7830 makes its safe start check (3 sec.) 42. The ignition transformer, the upstream and downstream oill safety shutoff valves, and the MAIN FUEL ON lamp are energized. 43, After 10 seconds the ignition transformer is de-energized, 44. With flame being sensed, the FLAME LED on the RM7830 flame relay is energized 45, The high energy igniter insert solenoid and the HIGH ENERGY IGNITER INSERTED lamp is de- energized. 46, Ifthe flame detector has not sensed flame atthe end of the ignition timing period the system will fault and indicate an alarm. 47, The alarm must be reset. 47.1. Deptess the FLAME FAILURE/RESET lighted pushbuston, Note! I all limits are still made and the fuel valve is at low flow, the bumer will stat the light-off sequence Burner Shut Down Procedure 5.1, Push the PULL TO START/PUSH TO STOP mushroom head button in, A contact closure is given tothe DCS, Caution: Depressing the blue reset button on the 7890 flame relay will shut off the burner and result in an attempted re-light without re-purging. 6. Burner Fault Shut-Down 6.1, The bumer will shut down with the following: 6.1.1. Depressing the EMERGENCY BURNER STOP push-button, 6.1.2. Loss of any limit.
