Students will be able to describe their family orally using new vocabulary

Students will be able to write sentences to describe their family using new vocabulary

Students will be able to create and participate in a quiz to practice new vocabulary

Summary of Tasks / Actions:

Input: Ask students to identify words we already know (padre,madre,hermano/a etc)

Using page ____ in book:
Ask students questions “Cómo se dice grandmother?” “Quién es el abuelo?”
This will be interactive and give the necessary exposure to the new vocab.

In pairs:
Get students to ask each other questions
Give them the examples: Como se llama tu abuela?

Ask students “quien es el hijo de mi abuelo?” answer : el padre o mi tio

Split students into teams and get them to create one question per team member.
Students will write answers too.
Students create team name,
Students will play against each other as a quiz.
The team will read their question and the other students must create a “sonido” to answer the
question.
The first to make sonido gets to answer question and will keep record of points.
