The sounds of Sunday is a story about the failing marriage of Doming and Emma Gorrez.

Domingo Gorrez
is a workaholic man who replaced his wife with his job. As he become successful he was becoming
unaffectionate with his wife. When he happened to get an immoral job, this gave him the reason to further go
down and destroy his marriage with Emma. After their arguments, Emma decided to go back to her province in
Tayug where she was reunited with Rene Rividad in Plaridel Highschool. The two talked in a restaurant and
Emma shared her dilemma about her husband Doming. She rethinks her past, wishing it was not like that and
desperately finding Domingo’s warmth again but it didn’t turn that way. Rene took advantage of Emma’s
brokenness and comforted her. Later on, Emma hoped to meet Rene in the restaurant again. When the two met
again, they confessed to each other and decided to continue what they left behind and started over together.
