Dear Members of the Hiring Committee,

I am writing to express my interest in the educator position. This position involves

many passions of mine and I would like to bring a voice of both youth and
experience to your company through the experiences I will outline.

In my time as a student, I have dedicated both my extracurricular and academic

attention to the issue of sexual health education. I have hands-on experience in
the clinic environment and with patient care, planned and executed
comprehensive workshops for youth on sexual health, and undertaken activism
and research in academic settings. My education experience as well as healthcare
knowledge has given me the background to undertake the challenges of this
position in a well-rounded way.

My academic background and volunteering have both involved extensive training

on working with diverse people on this sensitive topic and many others. In gender
studies, gaining a deeper understanding of oppression happens in nearly every
course. Similarly, all manner of patients visit and are treating at Island Sexual
Health as is it relatively low-barrier.

I am confident that my diverse experiences in the area of sexual health education

have given me the skills to further your company and I look forward to discussing
this in person with you.
