Senior Digital Exploration Judges

10800 Highway 707
Murrells Inlet, SC 29576

Dear Judges:

Hi, my name is Amir Blye I am 18 years old. I was born on August 12, 2000, in Myrtle Beach,
SC. I have an part-time the the Grand 14 at Market Common.I have a sister name Nasia Blye she
an junior this year. The past four have been tough, fun, and fast. The four taught me good work
ethics and how perseverance when the odds get tough. Some of my accomplishments are making
good grades, joining the Robotics club, and most important to the National Honor Society.
Probably the most challenges I face would be with Lupus and my speech delay.

The ways why I pick this topic is that it is personal. Because my grandmother was diagnosed
with the disease in 2016. With this diagnosis, my family was educated about the disease and
have to change some of our lifestyles. We have to lock our doom like room, kitchen, and
bathroom. Most what I learn I already in 2016 this was a refresh on what Alzheimer and how it
affects the person and the family. This may help in identifying symptoms in people and how to
deal with the symptoms.

During the Senior Exploration process, it wasn't hard but very irritating. I know since I was a
freshman that I must do a Senior project. The only challenges I have was is to turn work on time
and to do it the proper way. The Senior Project hasn't affected too much in my Senior year.
Because of I have early release which gave me more time to do the work.

I would like to thank the judges for their participation in the Senior Exploration. I know it hard to
find the time to be a judge in your busy life. So from the bottom of my heart, I like to thank you
willingly sharing their time to listen to my experience.

Sincerely,

Amir Blye
