Hello Prof. Honavar,

I’m currently an undergraduate computer engineering student at Penn State Abington. Im pursuing a research 
project, or an ACURA on Artificial intelligence, and more specifically neural networking and how to 
improve its functions. In researching for my annotated bibliography, I discovered some of your work, like 
your book specifically on artificial intelligence and neural networking! What a coincidence. I immediately 
took a liking to your extensive research, and you. 

I was hoping, if you’d have me, to work under you in this research. I’d love to work under, and be mentored 
by someone who has such extensive work/research in this complex, yet essential field of study. I think I will 
learn a lot from you, and in turn help you learn a lot more about the topic. I thank you for taking the time to 
hear me out. I understand you are a busy man, so whenever you get the chance within this next month, i'd 
love to hear back from you, regardless of your decision.
