SWC Lesson Reflection

The lesson I taught kindergarten 1 students was an English lesson (sound /o/) my

learning outcomes for the lesson was that students will be able recognize sound /o/,

demonstrate knowledge of letter sound and distinguish between letter names and letter

sounds. I liked how the students were happy and engaged when I asked them to shape

sound /o/ on the floor with their bodies. It was a new way for them to learn. One aspect

didn’t go well; the time was not enough for all of the students to make sound /o/ with

their bodies on the floor because we were making it in groups. When I will teach next

time, I will make sure to use the bell strategy to manage the time and to give all the

students the chance to participate.
