Dear Sir or Madame:

It is my pleasure to recommend Destiny Sorrell for your consideration. I have
known Destiny for three school years. Destiny is a student in my yearbook course
and was a student in my English II course at Dublin Jerome High School in Dublin,
Ohio.

Destiny is a well-balanced and responsible student. She comes to class ready to take
on whatever task I have for her. Ashley is dedicated to her studies and wants to
learn. She asks valuable questions, she’s engaged during class discussions and she
enters class prepared. This year, Destiny was given a leadership role as a section
editor over all sports and clubs at Jerome. She leads a team of 13 students
monitoring their work making sure each team takes photos, writes headlines and
captions, edits photos to the spread, and publishing the spreads for the 2018-2019
yearbook.

Destiny, along with dedicating time to her studies and the yearbook course, cheers
for both sports at Jerome and is on the cheer competition team. She is a wonderfully
well-rounded student who dedicates her time to both academics and school spirited
activities. Destiny also applied and was accepted in the Young Professionals
Academy where she had the opportunity to observe at Doctor’s Hospital.

I hope that my letter will confirm that Destiny Sorrell is not only a well-rounded
student, but a wonderful person as well. I believe that Destiny will be successful in
college and in the choices she makes for future efforts.
