1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 This Airworthiness Notice prescribes fees chargeable to operators and

individuals engaged directly or in-directly in aviation activities, on account of
various Airworthiness Services rendered to them by the Airworthiness
Directorate of Civil Aviation Authority.

2. GENERAL

2.1 The fees charged on account of services rendered by Airworthiness

Directorate, is a standard worldwide practice. These service charges are
developed keeping in view inflation, nature of task to be performed and man-
hours involved in discharge of assigned functions in methodical and efficient
manner. These service charges are considered necessary in order to cater
for functional expenses incurred by the Airworthiness Directorate, and to
improve upon Safety / Airworthiness Standards.

3. APPLICABILITY

3.1 This Airworthiness Notice is applicable to all operators and individual, who are
directly or indirectly engaged in aviation activities. Organizations involved in
aircraft maintenance/ overhaul, aviation training, design, manufacture or
repair of aircraft components, stockist / distributors of aircraft parts, are
required to be "Approved" for this purpose. Approval of these organizations
and their regular monitoring, is subject to payment of prescribed fees as given
in Appendix "A".

4. MODE OF PAYMENT

4.1 All local organizations or persons / resident in Pakistan, as well as applicants

outside Pakistan are required to deposit prescribed fees for “Airworthiness
Services” in:-

i. Habib Bank Limited, PIA Airport Branch JIA Karachi, Swift Code:
HABBPKKA048 for credit to CAA Collection Account No. 3373-84.

OR

ii. National Bank of Pakistan Jinnah Int'l. Airport Branch Account No.
2561-8 Karachi-Pakistan Swift Code: NBPAPKKA.

through prescribed deposit slip or Bank Draft or Pay Order in the name of
Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority

Note:
i. The Airworthiness Service Charges have been prescribed in US Dollars
which shall be converted into Pak Rupees for payment purposes, if required,
at the FOREX buying rate prevailing at the time of delivery of service.

ii. For foreign remittances, the applicable bank charges shall be borne by the
payee in addition to the Airworthiness Service Charges

iii. E-transaction can also preferably be made, however copy of transfer slip of
bank shall be required for realization.

5. CANCELLATION

5.1 This Airworthiness Notice cancels, Airworthiness Notice No. 03 issue 3 dated
22nd September, 2000.

6. AUTHORITY

6.1 This Airworthiness Notice has been issued under the authority vested in DG
CAA vide Rule 4 and 357 of Civil Aviation Rules 1994. The enhanced fees for
“Airworthiness Services” shown in attached Appendix ‘A’ are issued with the
approval of competent authority (i.e. CAA Executive Committee) and shall
come into force with immediate effect.

Note: All charges are in Pakistan rupees otherwise mentioned. Charges mentioned
against weight are part thereof. Rounded figure has been taken in US dollars.
Conversion rates from Dollar to Rupees for local organisation / operators / personnel
will be as per FOREX conversion Rate on the date of payment. All foreign
