To Whom it May Concern:

I am pleased to provide this letter of recommendation for Hannah Macanas, whom I had
the pleasure of working with in my third grade classroom during the Spring of 2016-17,
at Pacific Union School. She was very helpful in assisting with classroom management
and small group instruction. Hannah was very observant and aware of students' physical
and emotional needs. She took often initiative, helping students and myself. I am
impressed with her experience working with children. Her bilingual skills were also very
helpful in my class.

Hannah consistently exhibited a high degree of professional commitment and

involvement. Hannah has been a member of the Student California Teacher Association.

Hannah's caring and dedication to students and their education was clearly evident. I
enjoyed our many conversations regarding education. My students adored Hannah. It is
with great enthusiasm that I recommend Hannah Macanas for the Laura E. Settle
Foundation Scholarship. I see Hannah as a very competent and committed teacher. She
will be a truly amazing teacher!
