Governor, State of California State Capito, Suite 1173, Sacremento, CA 95814 Deer Governor Brown: (Over the las several weeks, the federal government have been releasing families from Central America seeking asylum into the San Diego region. As ofthis wee, there are an aditional 5,000 individuals who avait the processing of asylum claims atthe U.S. pots of entry bordering San Diego County. ‘The County and local cites have been assisting non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that have been working o address asylum seekers’ immediate needs for temporary shelter.
