‘This guide is trying to demystify the art of painting
wargaming miniatures - and putting some useful
techniques to the test. We hope you'll enjoy it
and as a consequence: "GET MORE TIME FOR
GAMING”!
Before putting brush to miniature you need to
decide on your colour palette for your army (see
page 4). Once that is done choose your Colour
Primer and spray on the basecoat. Now you have
a 100% acrylic surface to paint on - a perfect
start.

All Colour Primers should. be applied directly onto
ur miniatures like a normal primer ~ no need to
undercoat first as with a normal colour spray!. Watch
Video tutorial on how to use Colour Primer.Brushes come in many shapes and sizes, each with
a different use and purpose. The Army Painter's
brushes all have names that will identify their main
task - making it easier to pick the right brush for
the job. The type of hair on the brush also plays a
big part - and the Wargaming range utilize different
types depending on the task - thus giving you the
best tool to work with.
