Course Description: The Course is designed to orient and familiarize the student with the
different laws, rules and regulations that affect the midwifery practice as well as the legal and
ethical obligations of midwives in the care of patients.

Course Credit: Three (3) Units

Grading System: 75% Passing Rate on all quizzes, exams and reports/projects.

Evaluation: 20 point quiz per meeting, oral and written reports, long exams, oral exams
