Assessing a child for giftedness can be a complicated process, given the conficting views that surround the topic. Some educators argue that every child is gifted, which can also be taken to mean that no one is gifted. ‘While parents may wonder what a gifted child looks like to see if their child looks similar, categorizing a child as gifted is difficult because not everyone defines “gifted” the same way.
