Rational Unit V

For Unit V, I chose to showcase a decent grade I received in the class. The grade I

received was a 79 for the essay portion. This artifact shows the progression of my writing, my

writing has consistently been in the mid 70-90 range and I am proud of that. I am proud of how

my writing has become more established and proper. This writing assignment helped me grow

because it was similar to the annotated outline and the constructed responses which we often had

to do in class. The critical look required me to use my analytical skills and “attack the text”. This

is something that was done through out the various units this just more practice of the concept.

This also prepared me for the big constructed response about America at the end of unit six. At

this stage the cocoon I was once in is opening up and I am expanding and taking in all the

knowledge.
