This article discusses costs of damages because of data breaches in companies. It also

goes over how these sorts of incidents happen. Finally it discusses how these issues can be

addressed.

I plan to use this article to describe some vulnerabilities of companies to cybercrime and

corroborate my point that cybercrime is an incredibly dangerous thing especially spam.

Krebs, Brian. Spam Nation: The inside story of organized cybercrime-from global

epidemic to your front door. Sourcebooks 2014

Spam Nation is a book where the author Brian Krebs investigates operations that seek to harvest

our personal data. He talks about the rise, fall, and resurrection of what he calls the digital mafia.

The data is backed up by cutting edge research (by 2014 standards) and first hand interviews.

I plan to use this book as my primary source of material because he goes over the digital mafia

and the origins of internet service providers that have been host to many disgusting sites.
“Cyber Crime” Federal Bureau of Investigation https://www.fbi.gov/investigate/cyber date

accessed: 11/4/18 this website goes over what cybercrime is and what different aspects of it are. It

has a lot of resources that it can direct you to. Finally it has information from the FBI on how to

protect you.

I plan to use this website because it’s the FBI so you know it is credible. I want to use it to

describe all sorts of cybercrime, what it is, what the FBI wants/plans to do with it, and the

resources it directs people to if they have suffered from different cybercrimes.
