Question: In ASME B16.4-1992, is there a tolerance requirement for the 90 deg or

45 deg angle in elbows?

Question: Are hex ends on reducing couplings within the scope of ASME B16.4?

Reply: No. The ASME B16.4 Scope cites coverage for “dimensions and
tolerances” for gray iron fittings. The fitting dimensional table for
reducing couplings, Table 6, is limited to requirements only for banded
fittings. There is no coverage for other fitting types.
