To whom it may concem,
{cis my pleasure to recommend Amber Mosie for the position at your organization. Amber enrolled in my
‘Child, Fama, and Community class as part of her Eatly Childhood Development cohort through Fresno
Pacific Universiy’s Degree Completion Program. Throughout the six-week course, I had the pleasure of
‘watching Amber mature both personally and professional
rom the first clas session, Amber displayed a strong work ethic, intellectual acumen, and an awareness for,
and respect of, other peoples opinions. I witnessed firsthand Amber's unique ability to engage both the
theoretical and the pracueal. Whether inthe classroom, onlin, or in written assignments, Amber proves!
capable of wrestling with difficult content, and intellecually sifting theough various perspectives, before
aiving at her own conclusions, and puting them into practice. She was a standout in group discussions,
lsplaying her ability to both contaibute to, and guid, conversation. She aot only challenged her classmates’
‘thinking, bt allowed others to challenge, and refine, he thought process a5 well.
1 saw Amber's willingness to push herself in her Signature Assignment, the culminating assignment forthe
Course. She went above and beyond to research how the mass media affects socialization, and tackled the
assignment with creativity and passion. Her paper dsplayed her writing profcieny, commitment to the
learning process and ability to synthetze an array of information.
‘Whats most inspizing about Amber however, is her kind demeanor. She mainte grace, patience, and
‘compassion—three characteristics sorely neded inthe education feld and work force, whether working with
childeen, adolescents o fllow employees.
Amber will bean invaluable asst to your organization. Ifyou have any questions, please fel fre to contact
‘meat (359) 917-1874 to discuss her candidacy fo the position.
