Highlights

 Design and development of an efficient, User-friendly, Single Channel EOG based Man-
Machine Interface System

 EOG based proficient design with less signal handling prerequisite and high detection
accuracy.

 Robust interfaces based on multi-threshold algorithm which easily differentiate voluntary and
involuntary blinks and is unaffected by unintentional flickers and winks.

 MMI framework with good accuracy, better ITR, zero FPR and collision rate.

 Affordable framework for common masses.

 Extensive experimentations on four types of environmental condition for testing of EOG

capabilities for smart control applications

 A real time wheelchair control experiment (validation experiment) cross validating the MMI
framework and EOG potentials.

 A combination of a single channel MMI framework with GUI-less asynchronous control

strategy for home control and navigational applications.

 A single type of eye activity (only blinking) for generation of four control commands.

 First ever kind of verifications experiments that involved intentional prolonged navigational
sessions (up to 2 hours and for 600 meters of distance in one setup) for investigating the
effect of ‘prolong usage’ (for days) and ‘navigational distance’ on the performance of system
as well as the user.
