NITGAA = Prof. P. M. Jussay Award The Executive Committee, NITCAA Cochin Chapter proudly announces its initiative in search of best outgoing student of NIT Calicut for the year 2018. The Awardee will be honoured with Prof. P.M. Jussay Gold Medal and Citation. The students can apply online through Selection Criteria ¢ Only final year B.Tech, students are eligible for this ward. © The top 10% students from each branch with minimum 80% attendance for the previous academic years are eligible for the award. © The student will be judged in various areas on the basis of pre-set parameters. First phase i Sir ) marks, in which the i scrutinized by the the visibility of NIT, will be awarded as the "Best Outgoing Student" of Parameters (Preliminary Screening) © Academic excellence (Semester | to 7 - 10 marks each) : 70 Points ¢ Initiative in various co-curicular and extra-curricular activities such as: * Organizing seminars, Participation in Seminars, Conferences at Zonal, National ‘nd Intemational Level, Presenting Papers at Conference, Prizes won at the co- cumticular activities conducted by other colleges, University and National Level, Launching department magazine and other functions : 50 Points * Representing the college at various educational fora, cultural competitions, ec. Participation in various literary, fine arts and performing arts at the college level, Organizing college Annual Day, Cultural Forum, Subject association activities, Talentia and other functions : 50 Points * Active participation in Sports (intra and inter-collegiate) : 50 Points + Participation in NSS/NCC/ACP (Additional Credit Program) : 30 Points # Personal interview : 50 Points © Total : 300 Points
