CHANGES IN THE EUROPEAN
PRESSURE EQUIPMENT DIRECTIVE (PED)
Pressure equipment for the European market
The Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 97/23/EC) has been in place since the 29th May 2002. It
will be replaced by PED 2014/68/EU as per 19th July 2016.
