Dear Ms. Anderson,

I’m a senior at Copper Hills High School. In order to graduate we’re required to job shadow a
career we’d like to pursue or something we’d like to know more about. I want to be a registered
nurse and actually interested in working with the U of U in the future. I’d like to get a better feel
of the daily tasks and see how you deal with situations at hand. I’ve learned a small amount of
customer service in my current job and would like to see how it works in a different
environment. I’ve taken many health related classes and would love to see it all in real life.

There is always room for improvement and I would appreciate learning how to better my
customer service. Learning new things and staying on top of changes is very important for a
company. I love that one of the company’s main goals is to be compassionate. I completely agree
the job can’t be done well without compassion and that it is what makes a company successful. I
love the idea of compassionate care and would want to be in an environment that makes guests
feel welcome.

I admire that you received two master degrees in Nursing. I aspire to have that motivation and
would really enjoying learning why you decided to do that and how it’s helped you. I also love
that you stay involved and engaged in the Huntsman Multidisciplinary Conference! I’m happy to
help in anyway but also understand your job is a sensitive environment and will keep a respectful
distance.
