Responsibilities:

Provide production support for critical databases, which consists the OLTP
reservationplatform and Market intelligence solutions. Hosted on Linux servers.
�
Support process is modeled on ITIL framework.
�
Implemented 2 node RAC databases.
�
Responsible for handling critical/non-critical issues and resolving them as per
SLAs.Ensuring minimal impact on business (Incident Management).

Day to day activities include proactive monitoring of the critical Production
Databases usingvarious tools Oracle GRID, QUEST (Spotlight, foglight). Also manual
checking of the alertlogs, trace files etc.

Deploying approved changes on the various environments (QA, Dev and Prod).

Install, patching, configure and upgrade software.
