Greetings of Peace!
The BS Accountancy program of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University is time-honored
to be of excellent quality and top-caliber. The results of the perennial Certified Public
Accountant (CPA) Board Examinations reflect the kind of education that your good office caters
to the students, including ourselves, that are under your scope. Consequently, the grade-point of
2.0 for all accounting-related subjects has been clearly set as the retention policy to remain in the
program. However, it is with heartfelt dismay that we have failed short to meet this criterion
under Law 111-Obligations and Contracts.
In line with this, we are asking your esteemed department to allow us to have the
opportunity to prove ourselves worthy to be in this program by offering Law 111 in this coming
first semester, school year 2016-2017. By availing this subject, we would be able to make the
necessary catching-up to still complete the whole course within five years.
It is with one voice for all of us to say that it is our dream to be a CPA and a product of
AdZU molded within five years. We are hoping that you would enable us to materialize that
vision of hope we share with our batch mates, our family, this institution, our country, and God.
