According to Friar Lawrence there are two sides to everything, good and evil, which
change depending on how it is used. This is indeed a true statement. In act five of Romeo and
Juliet, Romeo buys a poison from the apothecary. Poison is generally not a good item and
would be used to kill people so it would be an evil item. However when it was used in this
scenario it was used for good so Romeo would be with Juliet forever (or so he thought). Another
example of this is the internet. The internet has many viable sources that can be used to find
information on things. If someone needs to write a paper for school they can check the internet
and try and find what they are looking for. This is an example of using the internet for good.
There are also negative ways to use the internet like looking up homework answers or buying
illegal movies that are pirated. In conclusion there are two sides to everything, good and evil.
The side only changes depending on how it is being used.
