There are these components of concrete

1.cement

2.water

3. Aggregates – fine and coarse

4. Chemical admixtures – accelerators, retarders, superplasticizers

5. Mineral additives – fly ash, slag, rice husk ash etc.

Batching – the proportioning of components of concrete is known as batching. Batching’s practise is

different in whole world. Batching can be done on basis of volumetric or by weight. Volumetric is
less accurate.
