The back-up voltage is monitored by the control and a monitoring signal is output. ‘Tho battory must be raplaced within 6 weeks of tho monitoring responding. The battery can be replaced after the controller has been switched off without any loss of data, as data is retained for approximataly 15 minutes. The service life ofthe batteries used is a minimum of 8 years. ‘The battery must be ramoved bafore the module is put into storage. ‘The battery is located on the CCU module (see figure 9-1). Before removing the CCU module, please comply with the ESD measures in the Preface and the ‘transportation and storage conditions spesitiad in section 2.2.1 ofthis manual 41, Switch off the control 2. Follow the ESD rules! 3. Remove all connectors, irs labeling them ifnecessaty. 4, Loosen the 4 fixing screws of the CCU module and pul it out, 5. Remove the battery and pullout the battery connector. Data backup is ‘ensured for about 15 min by a capacitor. 8. Connect the new battary (ensuring correct polarity) and pross it into its holder. Roinsort the CCU module and serow it tight. Plug in all connectors correctly.
