My favorite movie in 2018

One of my favorites movies of all times is The Shawshank Redemption based on Stephen King’s

book, called “Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption”. The film chronicles the experiences

of a formerly banker who was sentenced to a life in prison for the murder of his wife and her lover

despite the fact he didn’t commit the crime. First, this is a drama movie, one of my favorite genres

because you can feel the essence of every character, their performance is developed in a realistic

way, their emotions and feelings are expressed in an important with society and with its own

nature.

Second, you can connect with the characters of the movie, you feel their emotions despite the fact

that it is just a movie. In every part of the film there is a situation that maybe is similar to something

that happened before in your life and you can empathize with the performers.

The Shawshank Redemption is considered one of the best movie of all times. It is the first place of

the list “IMDb Top 250” of the best movies of all the time and it is recognized by many specialist as

a cult movie. It was nominated to 7 Oscars, two golden globes and other awards. In conclusion,

The Shawshank redemption is an excellent movie that you will not get bored to see in your whole

life.
