SUBJECT: Restaurant Proposal

As you are aware, I am in the process of completing ​The Restaurant Entrepreneur​ simulation. In order to
continue with this simulation, I am required to first establish the name and location of my restaurant.
Please review the proposed restaurant provided below and indicate if I have your approval to use the
proposed idea by completing the bottom portion of this memo and returning it to me.

Proposed Restaurant:
The name of y restaurant is “Daylight Diner” a 60’s themed diner. The theme for my restaurant is to give
the customer the feeling that they have truly gone back in time. The color scheme I have chosen is a
combination of both white, and red. The signature dish will be a burger labeled as the “Flaming Burger”.
The restaurant will be located in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Restaurant Reasoning:
When I was eight years old, my family and I were going to Disney World. Because the airport in Bismarck
is small, we traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota. The day before we were to leave for Florida, my Dad
explained to myself and my family that he was interested in going to a place called, “Mickey’s Diner”. He
had heard references of this from a show called “M.A.S.H”.
