León is located in the northwest of Spain.

It is a small town with many interesting places, where

you can visit old monuments and enjoy its gastronomy. León is the beginning of
parliamentarianism.

Accommodation.

There are many hotels of different prices, but the most famous is San Marcos. San Marcos was a
jail. However, nowadays it is one of the best monuments in the city and a luxury Parador, but there
are also more affordable hotels (for the people who don’t want to spend a lot)

Restaurants

León has a lot of restaurants, and it has been recently named gastronomical capital. There is a
neighbourhood full of bars with typical products called tapas. If you buy a drink, you will get tapas
for free.

Shopping

There are little shops around the city centre and the most important shopping street is Ordoño.
There are two malls with some trendy shops.

Attractions

The most famous monument is the Cathedral, it’s a masterpiece of the Gothic style. My favourite
part of the city is the historical centre and the beautiful parks around the city. Some important
monuments are Botines, San Isidoro…
