‘The HCG True Diet offers a unique medical weight loss program to patients desiring a
healthy, effective weight loss and management program. The program has the advantages
of medical assistance and supervision to ensure your safety, while enabling you to lose
weight rapidly to help motivate you to achieve your weight loss goals. The weight loss
program is based on the amazing power of HCG, a natural hormone with the ability to
change one’s metabolism,
HCG “tricks” your body into thinking that it is pregnant, which changes your metabolism to
burn the fat wile eating a very low calorie diet. HCG is the hormone naturally secreted
during a pregnancy to ensure nutrition is present for the fetus to grow. During times of
starvation or very low calorie diets, when the body has HCG flowing within it, the body
mobilizes the abnormal deposits of fat for nutrition. Thus, when these fat stores are being
utilized, the weight drops precipitously. It is not uncommon to lose one to two pounds a day
on this diet.
Normally, without HCG, ingesting a very low calorie diet would result in fatigue, loss of
energy, and give your hunger pains. HCG enables the body to lose the weight while

handles and the hips. The latter are the large fat reserves that make us look “fat”.

fone loses weight. It does not seem to mobilize normal fat or structural fat well. Therefore, it
isa diet for people who want to lose 15 to 90 pounds or more. It is not a diet for people
‘who need to lose only a few pounds for they have very ttle abnormal fat. These people

0.2 mild calorie restriction diet with proper exercise.

‘The diet program consists of four phases, guided intensively and monitored by Dr. True. An
initial workup includes an exam, possibly an EKG and blood work. Then you are seen every
two weeks for six weeks. You are given 2 vitamin shot and checked for potential side effects

‘The HCG True Diet is based on the use of HCG combined with a very low calorie diet to
change your metabolism to burn the extra fat and lose the extra pounds. Only certain foods
are allowed during the diet, as noted below. The diet consists of a loading phase (Phase 1),
a very low calorie diet (Phase 2), 2 maintenance diet (Phase 3), and a long term lifetime
diet (Phase 4). You will use the HCG preparation for the first forty (40) days, or Phases 1
and 2.The following are the food guidelines and restrictions for doing the HCG True Diet.
Phase I
For the first three days you are loading up on HCG and food. You may eat what you want
during these three days, but eating a well balanced diet is recommended. You want to make
sure ail your cells are filled with nutrients for the next phase. It is imperative to begin
weighing yourself every day and to continue throughout the program. If you gain weight,
this new weight will be your beginning weight.
Phase 2
After the third day of HCG, you are allowed to eat only 500 calories a day, split between two
meals a day of lunch and dinner. Breakfast is just a liquid beverage with minimal to no
calories,
Any non-caloric fluids in any amount. This could be coffee without sugar (nonsugar artificial
sweeteners are okay) and a tablespoon of skim-milk as desired.
Lunch and Dinner
You are allowed these two meals only per day. Each should total around 250 calories each.
Each consists of 3.5 02 (or 100 gm) af some type of protein food, plus enough of the
recommended vegetables and fruit to total 250 calories each (see food guide). You should
record the foods you eat in a food journal for accountability. You soon will see how easy itis
to keep track of your diet. This also helps you to learn about the number of calories in the
servings of food you eat.
The number of calories in 100 grams (3.5 02) of the recommended foods is listed below.
To calculate the amount of each food for your diet, follow the following steps. They will
make the program very easy to follow. The HCG True Diet of 500 calories per day is a very
simple diet program and very easy to do, Make sure you record everything in your journal
Step 1: Pick a Protein Food
Pick @ protein food from the list below. You must weight the food raw, so get 2 food scale.
‘Only eat 3.5 oz (100 gm) of meat or fish per meal. An agproximation of the size of a portion

cooked without additional fat. Avoid eating the same protein foods for both lunch and

All foods must be baked, roasted, broiled or grilled. All visible fat must be removed before

for flavor per your individual taste as long as the spices have no calories.
