FABRICS: Almost any fabric can be used: woven fabrics are best, such as cotton, linen, canvas, etc. How ‘ever, some cotton and eotton-polyester Knits are usable, The fabric you use should not be textured, such as a pique, or sculptured knit, also doxted ‘Swiss, flannel, terry, and other napped fabrics. Brushed denim can be used. The fabric should be a light or me- dium color, Transfer will not stamp on fabric that is dark or same color as transfer ink, BE SURE TO TEST YOUR FABRIC. As a precaution, we recommend pre-shrinking the fabric before stamping and embroidering. HEAT SETTING: A hot, dey iron set at woo! will give a compete trans- fer, without scorching the fabric. If a cotton setting is used a piece of tissue paper or lightweight fabric should be placed between the iron and the trans- fer to prevent scorching. "TO STAMP FABRIC: Cut a swatch of fabric to be used and test sample from the same page as the transfer. Place the right side of the fabric face ‘up, making sure the swatch is lat and not stretched of otherwise distorted Place the printed side of the sample face down on the swatch, place the hot iron on top of the swatch and the test sample. Do not move the iron. Lift the iron straight off the swatch after about 10 to 15 seconds, It would be best to use a watch or clock with f second hand. Lift a corser of the sample to make sure it has stamped completely. A test sample should al ‘ways be made before any transfers are ‘ured.
