CIRCULAR

As the plagiarism is one of the serious issues in academic and scholarly

publications. The Universality has made plagiarism checking as mandatory (w.e.f. 3 rd July
2017) for M.Phil and Ph.D. scholars and faculty members of our University schools,
departments, centers and affiliated and constituent colleges to submit their Thesis /
Dissertations. Hence, all the individuals concerned are directed to check the extent of
plagiarism and attach the certificate duly signed by the concerned officer along with research
guide and Head of the Department. The format hereby enclosed may be circulated among the
faculty members and scholars of yours department / Institution. Checking of plagiarism using
URKUND Software tool may be done by sending the soft copy of the documents to University
librarian to obtain the report.

Note :

All the individuals concerned are directed to check in their Dissertation

and Thesis using URKUND software through Arignar Anna Central Library of
Bharathiar University login itself only. Pre-checking is not entertained. The Research
Scholars / Supervisors are requested not to change in Plagiarism Certificate Format.
