Qualifications [s. No Designation of the post Minimum Qualification 1 Assistant Professor MDS Degree of a recognized Indian University/Diplomate of National Board or an Equivalent Qualification in the respective subject. Must be registered in a State Dental Council or Indian Dental register. 1) Number of posts notified may be reduced or increased at the time of selection by the competent authority. 2) The Director, Govt. Dental College & Research Institute, Bangalore reserves the right of cancelling the Notification/Appointment Process without assigning any reasons.2 3. Last date for receipt of applications: Filled in Applications should be submitted to the Dean cum Director, Govt. Dental College & Research Institute, Bangalore on or before 30.12.2017 at 4 pm. 4. Age Limit; Maximum 40 years for G.M, 43 years for O.B.C and 45 years for SC/ST Category-1 candidates, as on the last date prescribed for receipt of applications. In respect of Ex-Serviceman the maximum age limit is relaxed by number of years of service in defence plus three years and in respect of Physically Handicapped persons and widows, by 10 years. For In-Service candidates the upper age limit may be relaxed by number of years of service in State Government’ Central Government/Public Sectors, subject to maximum of 10 years. 5, Reservation for Hyderabad Karnataka region: The candidates belonging to Hyderabad Karnataka region shall be regarded as local persons if he/she produces eligibility certificate issued by jurisdictional Assistant Commissioner, Revenue sub division as specified in the Govt. Order No.DPAR 43 HKC 2013, dt: 29/01/2014. 6. Kannada language Exam: For all the posts, Kannada language test will be conducted for 150 marks in accordance with Karnataka State Civil Services (Recruitment to Group A, Group B, Group C & Group D) Rules 2006. If a candidate fails to pass the Kannada Language test, he shall not be eligible for interview. The candidates who have passed SSLC examination or any examination declared as equivalent there to by the state government or any examination higher than the SSLC exam in which Kannada is the main Language or the second language or any optional subject (but not one of the subject in a composite paper) or if they have studied or passed in kannada medium are exempted from passing the Kannada language test. Method of Selection Candidate will be selected through the process of interview. Candidates will be called for interview in the ratio of 1:5, The method of recruitment shall be on the basis of merit, the merit list shall be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the marks obtained in the interview conducted by the selection committee. The Maximum marks in the Interview shall be fifteen(15). If two candidates secure a equal percentage of marks, then the candidate older in age may be selected. 8. PAY SCALE Pay scales for the post Rs. 15600-39100 (+8000 AGP) 9. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS - Should be a citizen of India. No man who has more than one wife living and no woman who has married a man already having another wife, shall be eligible for appointment. . Candidate should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties. . No person is eligible for appointment who is convicted in any criminal case, touching moral turpitude. . Candidates who are employed in the Govt. or Govt. organizations shall submit their applications through the Appointing authorities under whom they are working. 10. CERTIFICATE FOR CASTE RESERVATION: Pe Ne w Candidates claiming any reservation shall produce caste certificates issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format. 11. RURAL CANDIDATE: The Candidates claiming the rural reservations shall produce the rural reservation certificate issued by the competent authority in the format prescribed in the Karnataka reservation of appointment or posts (in the civil services of the state) for rural candidates act-2000. 12. PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED Candidates shall produce certificate of disability from the appropriate authority as per rules, 13. The candidate claiming previous experience should compulsorily produced the original salary certificate experience certificate, attendance extract & copy of form no. 16 issued by Director/Principal of the concern Dental College/Institution.
