Pine Mountain Middle School Cobb County School District “A community with a passion for learning” {¢) David Nelson, Principal January 25,2019 Dear Eighth Grade Parents: We are thankful for your efforts in making this eighth grade year one of positive academic and social growth, As a result, eighth graders are being offered the opportunity to participate in a variety of end-of-the year planned activities, As an incentive for the 8" grade students to conduct themselves in a respectful manner and display our school-wide expectations of Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful from now until the end of the school year, all 8" grade students MUST meet the following criteria to participate in the activities. Criteria will be enforced beginning Monday, January 28, 2019. * _ Astudent with three days of In-School-Suspension (ISS) will not be able to participate. © Astudent with two days of Out- of School Suspension (OSS) will not be able to participate. He/She may not be able to participate in one or more of the following activities: 8% Grade Dance, Field Trip, Olympies (Field Day)/Pienie and/or the End of the Year PBIS Reward Celebration, We want all of our 8" graders to participate in these activities and have fond memories of Pine Mountain Middle School and with your help and support, wé are confident our end of the year activities will be a success.
