Dear Prof,

My name Muhammad Ery Wijaya, I am an Indonesian citizen. I received my

Bachelor in engineering from Engineering Physics Department, Gadjah Mada
University, Indonesia and obtained Master's degree in Energy Technology from
The Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment (www.jgsee.kmutt.ac.th)
at King Mongkut University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand.

My thesis was working in development of energy scenario, particularly in

supply security improvement of the electricity sector in Indonesia. I was
using LEAP (Long-range Energy Alternatives Planning) modeling tool in my
scenario development. Several papers related to my thesis have been published
in journal and conferences.

At this moment, I am looking the opportunity for continuing my study. I am

interested to conduct research on technological assessment for energy
scenario development in Thailand and Indonesia. I think that your knowledge
and research interest in energy scenario match with my demand. It would be my
great honor if I can get opportunity to work together with you and become
your student.
