Inventory System for Silk Trading

Background

On 2008, ArnoldAboga, Who was a salesman in a supermarket put up a LPG whlesaler

and retailing business named “JLK Trading” which can offer two different brands of LPG (Total
Gas and Soline Gas). Mr. Aboga is the dealer and has their own store. They deliver their
products to the costumers and receive from suppliers on a daily basis. Their products are
coming from three suppliers namely Soline gas, Total Gas, and Regasco.

In tracking inventory, Mr Aboga monitors and records the inventory on a manual system
through writing the transactions at the end of the day. In determining if they are earning profit,
they use a formula by adding the beginning inventory and delivered units less the ending
inventory the difference will be the off-take multiplied by the unit price, and the will be the sale.

Problems

JLK Trading experiences undrstock and overstocking that leads to *BO (Bad Orders),
the term they use in loss incurred.

Objectives

 To easily track the orders, sales, inventory levels and deliveries.

 To encourage the inventory on a daily basis as they place new orders for
products and ship orders out to costumers.
 To avoid product overstock and outages.
