January 30, 2019 Subject: Caroline Crew SINCETSS ‘To Whom It May Concern, Caroline Crew, a student at Loyola University Chicago, itemed with The Verdin Company under ‘my supervision over the 2018-2019 winter break. She proved to be a model employee. To put Caroline’ assignment in context The Verdin Company, in business since 1842, isthe oldest family owned company inthe State of Ohio, Our antsans design, manufacture, install and maintain cast bronze bells, towers, tower clocks, post clocks and digital caillons. We ate known for creating and maintaining legacy spaces where students, faculty and visitors gather on campuses throughout the United States for ‘example, Miami of Ohio's Pulley Tower, a 50 bronze bell carillon with a four faced tower clock. Caroline was given the important assignment to develop an excel based contact list for Colleges, Universite, and Trade oc Community Colleges which have upcoming anniversaries in increments (f 25 years up to 325 years! Such Anniversaries inspire capital campaigns to honor celebratory traditions and create new legacy spaces on campus. The resuitant contact ists the basis of a planned snail mail, call and email campaign to raise awareness of The Verdin Company's ‘copabilios among key decision makers and suppor personnel. Caroline was armed with a specific set of target institutions of higher learning and desired titles of Potential contacts. She showed maturity, ownership and advanced understanding of strategy requiring minimal, infact almost unneeded, supervision in building thelist. When the list of insttations was supplemented partway through her assignment it became clear to Caroline that it could not be completed during her brief tenure. Caroline independently prioritized and built the list in reverse order of anniversary date.
