Greetings from UP ABM!

The UP Association of Biology Majors (UP ABM) is a university-recognized organization, the

largest organization based in the UP Institute of Biology. It currently has 80+ active members,
and more than 500 alumni. It has been cited as the “Best Organization” by both the Institute
(2017-2018), and the College of Science Student Council (2014-2016). In its 43 years of service,
the organization has continually served as an instrument in the formation of service-oriented
members who pursue academic excellence. It holds various activities, both socio-civic and
academic in nature, such as medical missions, tutorials, and quiz bees.

This November 2017, we would like to invite your school to join us in this year’s BioLOGIC: the
18th Inter-High School Quiz Bee, to be held on November 6 (Monday), at the Institute of
Biology, National Science Complex, UP Diliman, Quezon City. For the past years, BioLOGIC
has been instrumental in the formation of students with the knack and interest in Biology. This
quiz bee aims to promote Biology not only as a subject, but also as an institution integral to the
development of the community. It also serves as an alternate venue for education, as it actively
promotes healthy academic competition.

Along with this invitation is the contest registration form detailing the event program and
contest mechanics. Should you be interested in joining, you may e-mail us at
