Isaac Asimov

Hello everyone, today I going to tell you a short description about one of my favorite authors: Isaac
Asimov.

Along with Robert A. Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke, Asimov was named one of the "Big Three" science
fiction writers during his lifetime

Isaac Asimov is considered as one of the most prolific authors of the history, of russian-jewish origin. He
was born second January of nineteen twenty in Russia nationalizing later as an America.

He was an author and professor of biochemistry in the Boston University, maybe the best contemporary
science fiction author, with an unparalleled intelligence.

In total is estimated that five hundred twenty differents books were written and edited by him, he wrote
his first novel “In the Stellar sand” in nineteen fifty one and finished with “Forward the Foundation”
published posthumously in nineteen ninety three, that in average are 12 books per year.

His most famous books series are: The foundation (it’s must be his master piece), the series Robot and
Galactic Empire.

Isaac Asimov has been globally recognized with a total of eighteen prizes like the prestigious Hugo
Awards for his novel “The god themselves”.

According to the UNESCO, Asimov has been the science fiction author who has been translated the
most.

He’s also considered as a stronger impeller of the science , introducing for example the three laws of
robotics, the acquisition in the Oxford English Dictionary of definition such as: positron, psicohistory and
robotic.

Actually his name prevails in the space with a crater in Mars and asteroid named in his honor.

Isaac Asimov must be the most important author in the contemporary culture, our generation hasn’t
seen yet a person with those incredible skills to write, it could be years but his work will remain exciting
to hundreds of people around the world.
