Clutch Actuation System for Passenger Cars

Actuating Cable With Automatic
Adjustment Mechanism

Actuating cables with an automatic adjustment mechanism are retained with a bayonet connector (Fig. 1)
or with a white plastic band (Fig. 2).

Actuating cable with bayonet connector

1. Install actuating cable.
2. Release retaining device (bayonet connector).
3. Remove retaining device (bayonet connector).

 The actuating cable automatically adjusts after the clutch pedal is actuated.

1. Install actuating cable.
2. Release retaining device (plastic band).
3. Remove retaining device (plastic band).

 The actuating cable automatically adjusts after the clutch pedal is actuated.
