ECONOMIC ROLE:

The struggle of the Prophet Muhammad. with the friends in Medina in the field of economics,
among which are as follows.

1. Build an economic system based on syirkah principle (cooperation) on the basis of mutual
assistance.

2. Do trading by promoting honesty, by not reducing scales.

Build high ethics among Muslims.

3. Obligatory zakat, to achieve economic equalization among Muslims, and to improve welfare for
poor people.

4. Zakah is required in the 2nd year of Hijrah, after the order of Allah.
 This is done by Prophet Muhammad. with his companions, because the previous traders, many
who did the wrongdoing. The presence of the Companions of the Prophet brought honesty values in
trade.
