I was young
I was dumb
Thinkin love was a piece of art
But instead she tugs on my heart
Took my heart and put it in a funeral
Even wrote the date in those Roman numerals
But I still loved
I thought it would eventually workout
But when the truth comes out
You know it’s not going to happen
And you look around and everyone else laughin
You run and cry
Thinking you’re gonna die
Is love just a word or is it an action
You start feeling portions and fractions
