Everyday topics. Try to write from your own perspective and be witty, original. The tone is totally
informal and casual. It is a subjective topic and you must captivate the reader´s attention from
beginning to end.

Essay

You have to reflex on pros and cons, alternatives for a specific problem or situation. You must
write an introduction and a conclusion that supports everything that you say in the text. The
language used must be formal, but not excessively formal. You must show some objectivity,
although in the last paragraph you may give your opinion freely.

Formal email/letter

The title says it all. You must write formally about the information given in the task.

Report

You must use formal language and show an analytical point of view of a specific situation. Divide
the text into little sections and name them using a short title.

Review

You are asked to write about entertainment-related topics (movies, TV shows, a new restaurant,
etc.) The language used is quite informal and casual. Try to use descriptions as much as possible
and a wide range of vocabulary words.
